General Information
What is covered under the lifetime warranty?
The aluminum frame is covered under a lifetime warranty. The motor, battery and controller are covered for 5 years and all other parts come with a 1 year warranty.
Are the warranties transferable?
No, warranties are valid only to the original registered owner.
How are warranty claims handled?
You will be provided with a link via email to register your golf cart upon purchase. If you have any issues during the warranty period, your next step would be to submit a claim on our site. Within 24 hours you will receive a response asking for more information, approval or denial. From there SKYE will contact local service providers and set up an appointment for you. All the following repair costs and parts would be covered by SKYE as long as they are within the warranty guidelines.

Power and Performance
What Motor is a Skye Performance Golf cart equipped with?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a 72v / 7.5 kw motor which is the largest motor package available to achieve great power while facing challenging hills.
What kind of battery is included?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a 240v lithium battery to keep the memories rolling. This battery package will give you the most hours of use (up to 96 miles)
What kind of Controller is used?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a Curtis control which is the most consistent controller on the market. The controller is responsible for the throttle response to provide smooth and consistent acceleration.
What is the frame made of?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with an Aluminum frame that includes a *lifetime warranty. We chose to use an aluminum frame for strength, light weight and anti rust.
What is the suspension kit?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with double A arm independent front suspension with coil over shocks to create ride stability, strength and ease any bumps coming down the road.
Are Skye Performance golf carts lifted?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a coil over suspension 6” lift to elevate the ground clearance.
What is the brake system?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes for urgent stops while enjoying our high power motor package and an electric parking brake system.
What kind of steering do you use?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with power steering to keep things easy for you. You can tilt the wheel to meet your driving preference and it is equipped with an auto return feature that brings your wheel back to center.
How long does the battery take to charge?
All Skye Performance carts come equipped with FastCharge accessibility which requires you to use both charging ports and have access to a 20amp outlet. Charge time is 8 hours using this feature. You can use one charging port with a standard 15amp outlet but that increases your charge time.
What is the max golf cart speed?
All Skye Performance golf carts are set at 25mph due to LSV regulations.
Are Skye Performance Carts stable to drive?
Although the Skye Performance carts come with a 6” suspension lift to maximize ground clearance, we have increase stability by upgrading to the front suspension to a double A arm independent coil over shock, rear trailing arms, and a rear sway bar which gives our Skye carts minimal body roll, maximum stability, and a comfortable ride in all terrains.
Safety and Compliance
Are Skye Performance golf carts DOT compliant?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with DOT compliance for the majority of the states. You will also receive a Manufacturer Certification of Origin for proper registration.
What is included in your DOT package?
We include everything you need to register your Skye Performance cart on day 1. It comes equipped with blinkers, rear view mirror, side mirrors, 3-point retractable seat belts, DOT laminated glass windshield, and a windshield wiper.
Do you need a license plate for a golf cart?

All of our Skye Performance Carts come with 14” wheels and 23” altertain tires to give you proper traction on and off the pavement.
Do the seats have headrests?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with diamond stitched comfortable seats including adjustable headrest and rear facing arm rest that make your driving experience that much more enjoyable
Do Skype Performance carts have cupholders?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with an ice bucket located under the rear seat and many cup holders throughout the cart to enjoy your beverages of choice.
Is there storage space?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a front basket for extra storage to keep your belongings
Is the golf cart hard to get into?
No, all of our Skye Performance Carts come with entry steps for ease of getting into your cart. These become very helpful while playing a long day of golf
Is there room for my golf bags on the cart?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with an attached golf bag holder at the rear of the cart that holds bags vertically to properly place your bags without jeopardizing any seating arrangements and keeps it easy to grab a club or put one back with no bunching
Are there any bumpers on the cart?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with an aggressive front bumper and rear bumper for the “just in case” situations.
What material are the seat backs, dash and steering wheel?
All Skye Performance carts have carbon fiber seat backs, dash and steering wheel due to its quality and longevity.
Do Skype Performance carts come with fenders?
Yes, Skye Performance carts come with fenders that are paint matched to the body of the cart.
Technology and Media
What is the starting mechanism?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a push button start to turn on your cart just like a new car.
Do Skype Performance carts come with a stereo?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a big stereo just in case your friend's cart does not have one, you have enough sound for both of you. A total of (4) 5” speakers and a subwoofer.
Do Skype Performance carts have a media screen?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a 10.1” media screen with CarPlay to see all your gauges digitally.
Do Skype Performance carts have extra lighting outside of the headlights?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with underglow lights to give you the vibe of choice at night.
Do Skype Performance carts have a backup camera?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a back up camera to prevent you from scratching your aesthetically looking back bumper
Do Skype Performance carts have any outlets?
All of our Skye Performance Carts come with a USB plug in to make sure your personal accessories remain charged up.
Shipping
How is my Skye Performance golf cart shipped?
Skye Performance golf carts are shipped from our warehouse in Southern California to your driveway. You will receive your golf cart within 10-14 days from the day you place your order.
Do I need to be home on the day my golf cart arrives?
Yes, you need to be home to accept delivery of the golf cart and do your own visual inspection. Our transportation service will deliver the golf cart to the end of your driveway and unload it but we will not drive it up your driveway or into your garage.
